Elysium Cell Bio ITA is focused on translational studies (in vitro and in vivo) on metastatic brain tumors and breast cancers (e.g., Medulloblastoma and Triple Negative Breast Cancer, respectively) by studying those changes occurring within the tumor microenvironment affecting the cellular metabolism due to the application of new small molecules able to inhibit the Warburg effect and enhance the immunotherapeutic benefits.
Therapeutics
Elysium Cell Bio ITA has developed non toxic molecules capable to target Prune1 in tumorigenic cells by enhancing its intracellular degradation, thus inhibiting its related metastatic axis, by reducing TGF-beta signalling in the tumor microenvironment and affecting the epithelial to mesenchymal transition.
